EARTHQUAKE NEWS:
The devastating 6.3 earthquake that hit Christchurch on 22 February has unfortunately affected the Churchill Retirement Complex significantly.
Churchill Hospital, Bush Wing (dementia unit) and Churchill Courts (rest home and studios) were evacuated by the Canterbury District Health Board in the days following the earthquake. Information of where these residents have been moved to has been given to the next of kin, but any further enquiries should be directed to phone (03) 982 2606. Mary Armitage Villa residents have relocated also. The Churchill Retirement Complex will remain closed for the foreseeable future. Long term plans will be released as the decisions are made.
